The weather has finally taken a turn for the better! I am so excited to be wearing sandals and thin layers as opposed to bundles of clothing. These are some of the things on my spring must-have list this year. A striped bag and patterned skirt are things that I will definitely be trying to incorporate into my wardrobe in the coming weeks.
With fall just around the corner, it is time to get our wardrobes autumn-ized if you haven’t already! It is not winter, so we do not need our winter coats and Ugg boots yet, but we do need a few key transition items. I have always thought of summer and winter as the two main, opposite seasons with autumn and spring being the transition time in-between. With that being said, here are some important things to remember:
1. Add layers by throwing on a scarf, a chambray shirt, or a light jacket. Layers are all about many light layers- not one bulky coat.
2. This is the time to wear your nice leather boots so the snow and weather won’t ruin them. But you don’t need to only wear boots. You can still wear your flats, sandals, and heels.
3. When you have a special event to attend and would like to wear a mini dress, get one with long sleeves so you will stay warm. It is still the same concept as a mini, just with different sleeves.
