Pure Bliss

To anyone that has still taken time out of their day to check this website— hello! It’s been a while, and I apologize for that.

A big part of the reason I’m writing to you right now is to explain why it’s been so long since I’ve checked in. And that reason is Pure Bliss.

Pure Bliss is my new blog. It’s become my creative outlet for all things in life, not just fashion. As much as I love A Rose and Her Clothes, I love Pure Bliss just a little bit more, and I think you will too. I remember sitting down to write the posts for this blog, thinking to myself that I could only write about fashion or only talk about things that were considered “high end” in the fashion world. I didn’t know it at the time, but I created a mold for myself that I felt so compelled to fill in a cookie-cutter kind of way. That’s why I look back at nearly every single post on this website and cringe. I do. Every time. That’s not to say that I didn’t learn a lot, because this was the building block I needed to move on to something that fit my creative pallet more than A Rose and Her Clothes ever did. This was the place I found my way.

Pure Bliss was the perfect blank canvas I needed to start doing and sharing the things that I love. It’s my jumbled assortment of happiness, and I hope you’ll check it out here:

Thank you to every single one of you that tuned into A Rose and Her Clothes; I will never forget the life lessons I learned from this site.

xoxo Anna Rose, aka A Rose and Her Clothes

Old & New

// Old & New sunnies that I’m loving //

// A new purse that is of utmost fashion & function //

// The new magazines & old lotion that I’m currently obsessed with //

// New reading glasses + reading material //

// Old sketches I found in a sketchbook in the basement //

There’s something great about getting new things and knowing they are yours, but there’s something magical about finding old things and mementos that remind us of past memories. Mixing the two is a great way to simultaneously recall the past and embrace the future.

Here’s a quote that got me thinking, I hope it does the same for you:
“You can’t liter negativity everywhere and then wonder why you’ve got a trashy life.” -Anonymous

Shop ‘Till You Drop

There’s no better way to celebrate 2013 and ring in the new year than to go shopping! I have always loved to shop, and the Fashion Square Mall in Arizona is one of the best places to shop in the country. They have every store you could possibly imagine (including Michael Kors & Anthropology, two of my all-time faves), so it’s never to hard to find something you like. I spent a decent amount of time in Anthro today, and can we just take a moment and appreciate the decor of the store? I love, love, love the atmosphere in there–it makes everything so appealing. I found a dress for my birthday, and I also found a dress with cheetas/lions/tigers on it, and cmon– that’s just plain awesome. Have a happy New Year!
